I see your query has been answered for general info, this is what we found: patrick J Desmond was a roadmaster for Rock Island RR, and must have moved around. His obit Oct 4 1946 lists him of Kirkland WA, died at Mercy hospital in Des Moines. Services at St Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moins and burial in Avoca Catholic Cemetery ( Graceland Cemetery)
I see his wife Margaret is buried there also 1872 - 1934.
The obit lists the widow and five sons, Daniel and Bernard of Des Moines, Joseph of council Bluffs, Edwin of Atlantic and Thomas of Elgin; two dau Mary Barney of East Ely NE and Patricia Desmond of Kirkland WA and three sisters mrs Agnes Fagan, Nora and Kate Desmond of Kansas City MO.
In Margarets obit July 13 1934 lists Mrs J W Mcdonald of Milwaukee WI and Mrs L F Barney of Caldwell IDa. her seven brothers Daniel, Charles, jesse and George Leslie of Avoca, and Edward Leslie of Creighton NE
