Hi Pierre,
Thank you for the answer on my Great grandfather John Baptiste DeLaurier. I'll tell you as much as I can.
John was born in 1839 in Montreal (Coteau-du-Lac) and he moved to Chatham Ontario before 1866.
Near or about that time, my great grandmother Pulchere moved to Chatham from St Valentines PQ with her parents Esuebe Thibodeau and Lucy Bourgous. As far as I know Chere had one brother Simon and one sister Mary.
John and Pulchere were married in the Lady of Help Church in Wallaceburg on February 18 1856. I have a photograph and a copy of parts of the family bible.
There was five surviving children
Esuebe
Elenora
Henry
Helene
Geneva
What I don't have is John's birth certificate. The name of his Mother and Father. and brothers and sisters and family ties.
