Hi again, guess I've already answered your first question. As to the second, I don't know where he could have gone. Maybe living with other relatives? I checked my Cabassier's and didn't find him but found a Margaret Deloria, age 7, on the 1850 census living with Pierre Cabassier and his wife, Elizabeth Ravalette, the parents of Agnes Cabassier.
