The parents of Antoine Deslauriers whom married Philomene Boyer in Keesville N.Y. are
found in Antoine's act of baptism in the
parish of St-Constant Co. Laprairie records:
Baptism.
On the 31st of July in the year 1832 was baptised Antoine Ignace born yesterday from the marriage of Antoine Renau and of Émelie Aupry residing in the parish of St-Philippe (co. Laprairie). The Godfather was Toussaint Renau and the Godmother was Françoise Pérot.
The date of birth is the same as is declared in Antoine's death certificate.
Although the surname Deslauriers does not appear in the act, many direct ancesters of Antoine bear it in their name either as Renaud dit Deslauriers or Deslauriers dit Renaud.
