I am unable to answer anything about your specific Deskin, but I have a zerox copy of the early Diskins which appears in THE VIRGINIA GENEALOGIST
written by Merrill Hill Mosher of Coos Bay, Oregon, a descendant of this family as am I. It is entitled THE DISKIN FAMILY OF OLD RAPPAHANNOCK, ESSEX, KING GEORGE AND PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTIES. I know there were Diskins
in Cincinnati in 1918 when my grandfather
wrote a Miss Margaret Diskin requesting information. Don't know if he rceived an answer.
Will send copy of zerox if you wish.
