Have been in contact with a fellow who has been tracing his wife's ancestry for the past twenty years. His wifes paternal great-grandfather was Milo Collins b 1834/Oneida County, New York. Milo was part Oneida i ancestry. In 1891, at Big Timber, Montana, Milo married his second wife, Isabelle Desjarlais b. 1870 @Canada. Isabelle was French/Cree. They lived at Reedoint Montana, on the Crow Reserveation and were both adopted as such. Milo apprently had no immediate family in Montana. His mother and sister supposedly ended up in Brothertown and Chilton, Wisconsin. If you go to the "Collins" genforum and search for Re: Deodonne (Geedonnee) Collins, AB, Canada, you should be able to contact the person who relayed this information. Hope this helps.
