Hi. I think Wilbur/Emile/Edouard is Edouard Wilbrod Desjardins, b. 16 Apr , baptized 17 Apr 1871 St-Hyacinthe.

Here is the family in 1871:

1871 Census of Canada about Napoléon Desjardin
Name:        Napoléon Desjardin
Gender:        Male
Age:        22
Birth Year:        abt 1849
Birth Place:        Quebec
Marital Status:        Married
Religion:        Catholic
Origin:        French
Province:        Quebec
District:        St Hyacinthe
District Number:        121
Division:        1
Subdistrict:        St Hyacinthe
Subdistrict Number:        h
Household Members:
Name        Age
Napoléon Desjardin        22 b. 1849 Que.; Boulanger
Angéle Desjardin        19 b. 1852 Que.
Theléphore Desjardin        2 b. 1869 Que.
Edouard Desjardin        1 month b. 1871 Que.

Here they are in 1881:

1881 Census of Canada about Napoleon Desjardins
Name:        Napoleon Desjardins
Gender:        Male
Marital Status:        Married
Age:        28
Birth Year:        1853
Birthplace:        Quebec
Religion:        Catholic
Nationality:        Francaise (French)
Occupation:        Boulanger
Province:        Quebec
District Number:        62
District:        St Hyacinthe
Sub-District Number:        A
Subdistrict:        St Hyacinthe
Division:        2
Household Members:
Name        Age
Napoleon Desjardins        28 b. 1853 Que; boulanger
Angele Desjardins        26 b. 1855 Que.
Pierre Desjardins        11 b. 1870 USA
Emile Desjardins        10 b. 1871 Que.
Adelard Desjardins        8 b. 1873 USA
Arthur Desjardins        6 b. 1875 Que.
Harve Desjardins        4 b. 1877 USA
Napoleon Desjardins        2 b. 1879 Que.

Boy, they really messed up on Napoleon's & Angele's birthdates in this census. I think Pierre is Pierre Telesphore and no wonder I couldn't find his baptism in St. Hyacinthe since he was born in the US. I think the census taker messed up Emile, and it should be Edouard.

Here is Arthur's baptismal record:

Joseph Arthur Desjardins, b. 8 May 1875 St-Hyacinthe (Cathédrale), son of Napoleon & Angele Descoteaux -godparents- Francois Cote & Zephirine Desjardins

And Napoleon's:

Joseph Napoleon Ovilas Desjardins, b. 19 Sep 1879 St-Hyacinthe (Cathédrale), son of Napoleon & Angele Descoteau

Hope this helps. Annie
