I am just starting my family tree and any info regarding my great grandparents, or grandparents would be greatly appreciated. My grandfather's name was Louis David Desjardins he was born abt. 1899 (not sure of location) he married Mary Alexina Benard, we believe they may have married in North Bay. His parents were David Desjardins and Angelina Laronde. Louis and Mary had 9 children all born in North Bay. Leslie, Rita, Harvey, Patrick, Leo, Peter,(twins) (Anna Marie, Margraret Rose), Patricia.
See, I can't seem to find much info on my Grandfather he died at the age of 44, my mother was only 6. According to her siblings Louis was part aborginal, they seem to think it was on his mother's side (but not sure!). Thank you in advance! Tammy
