Hello Donna,
I did not receive your message until today!
So much for e-mail! I don't know if I have an uncle by that name. My DeSilva grandparents (Ernest & Mary) came from San Miguel of the Azores. My maternal grandfather (Malaquis) is from Lisbon and grandmother is from San Miguel also. Does this help?
