Hi Janine,
even Arthur De Silva sounds familiar !! when my mother came to Trinidad in exactly 1975, she used to work on Tragerate road in POS.....maybe she got a job through her uncle.....BECAUSE she came with her aunty from Grenada who wasnt a De Silva. Her aunty took her to her father (Anthony Mark De Silva)family.......SO ARTHUR must have been my grandfather;s brother??? because GEORGE DE SILVA was definately my grandfather's brother !!! does Anthony De Silva rings a bell???? MY grandfather Anthony De Silva died when my mother was 3 years old....and he died in England...SO my mother came to trinidad to meet her De SILVA family when she was 25 years old......because she never knew her dad...i have her birth certificate with her dad's name on it....
