I am trying to find relatives of my mother's cousin. Brenda (nee ABEYSEKERA) and Ossie de Silva married in Ceylon in 1935. Ossie's mother lived at CAMPBELL PLACE, COLOMBO at the time of their marriage and was widowed. Brenda's father was ABSALOM ABEYSEKERA of SIRWICKREMA ROAD, WELLAWATTE (NOW INTERNATIONAL BUDDHIST CENTRE ROAD) and her grandmother was MATILDA ABEYSEKERA (NEE DE ABREW). Brenda's great aunts were HARRIET DE ZOYSA and ELEN and ALICE KARUNARATNE,her great uncle was P R DE ABREW. Her aunt was AGNES ABEYSEKERA and her uncle VINCENT MENDIS ABEYSEKERA (b. 1877), who came to London as a young man. Brenda had a sister called INA.
Please can you help? I seem to be trying in vain to locate anyone connected with this family - my grandfather was VINCENT MENDIS - or who can give me any information about them. Thank you.
