Hi,

All Deshler's are related. We all descend from Captain David Deshler. The name Deshler is of swiss origin. Captain David Deshler, the direct ancestor in America, was aid-de-camp to Prince Lewis of Baden Germany, in the war of the Spanish Succession. Captain David lived in a castle on the Rhine and was known as "honest Dave" in the village because of his honest dealings with his friends. Born in 1690, David in 17111 married Maria Wuster (Wister, also spelled Wistar), the daughter of Hans Casper Wister and Anna Catherine. They had three sons, David Jr., Adam, and Anthony.

I have much more. If you email me we can correspond that way.

Sincerely
your cousin
Doreen
