The book that you mentioned sounds like a real "gem". It isn't by any chance the DESHAZO book written by General Tom DeShazo, is it? If not, I would love to have more information on it. I am a Deshazo descendant on my father's side. I have two websites up on the Deshazo surname. One is a type of "archive" (ww.geocities.com/Heartland/Valley/3220), the other is an interactive forum on My Family.com (by invitation only - you have to email me your email address for me to send an invitation via My Family.com). Anyway, my email address is nvrgiveup@mailcity.com. Please let me know more about that Deshazo book that dates back to the 1200's.
