This Caleb DeShane is my ggrandfther and his father was named Eli, mother was martha parks, but they were shawnee indians who went on the cherokee roll, they came from the kansas-oklahoma area and I know that caleb went to school in lawrence, kansas (have verification of this from the nation archives) at one time. I live close to shawnee, kansas where these shawnees were from and was wondering if you know any more info on them or if there is someplace I can go around here to look up some of this info
