My apologies for the delayed response. Haven't looked at my home e-mails since May. It's very nice to hear from someone who is part of the Deschler family from Racine. Which Deschler line are you in Joseph's or Casper's. Joseph was my g-g-grandfather and Casper was my g-g-granduncle. I have been research the Deschler family for about 3 years. Still haven't been able to exactly pinpoint where they came from in Germany, but have made some progress when they lived in Newark, NJ (before moving to Wisconsin).
