Hi! I have an Abigail (Deschamps)Dishaw. b. 6-8-1872. She was my grandfather's sister born three years after he was. Father was Joseph (Deschamps changed to Dishaw)b. 4/15/1839 St.Anicet-Hunterdon, Canada. Mother was Katie Barnhart b.10/22/1853. Second wife of Joseph. Katie's father, Benjamin Barnhart, mother,Marie Winger. Joseph's father Philip, mother Marquerite Dubreuil. Fran LaChance has more on the Deschamps way back. I can give you the names of the other children in Joseph and Katie's family, if you want them. My grandfather was Uriah called Joe. 15 children in all, three died as infants, some of the girls whereabouts are unknown. Let me know if this is some info you may need. Jerry L.
