Adelaide Deschamps was the daughter of Ephrem David Deschamps and Elisabeth Jenesse/Geneste. She married Jacques Bedard on Jan. 23, 1844 at Valcartier.
I know that they had the following children:
1. David who married Ellen Keelan 7 June 1868 at St. Patricks, Kinkora, Ontario
2. Ferdinand who married Adile Desjeans(Deschamps) 14 Nov. 1870, also at Kinkora, Ontario
3. Mary who married Narcisse Valcour on May 6, 1878 at Kinkora, Ontario
4.Fred who married twice, the second time to Isabelle Deschamps in 1889 at St. Agatha, Gagetown, Tuscola County, MI
5. Peter who married a Harriet.
In the 1871 census the family of James Bedore and Adeline (Deschamps) was living in Logan Twp, Perth County, Ontario. The following children were living with them:
Michael, age 17
John, age 16
Joseph, age 7,
Mary, age 14
Julia age 12
Louis, age 19
Frederick, age 21
All of them are said to have been born in Quebec, and are Roman Catholic.
On the neighboring farms are two more of their sons: Ferdinand and Peter.
This looks like the information you are looking for, except that Michael's birth date must have been about 1854, and I think he was born in Quebec, not Michigan. I do know that a Michael Bedore was a godfather at St. Patricks, Kinkora, Ontario in 1874 and 1875. This is probably also your Michael.
Many of the members of this family ended up in Tuscola and Bay County, Michigan. They seemed to have left Ontario about 1880.
