Mike:Hope you don't think I forgot you.I am giving you some now but there are five earlier generations which I have in my Email outfiles which I sent to another relative a while back and am trying to find out how to retrieve them to send to you so that I don't have to do them all over again.
Your Genevieve is the only child I have for Basile's first marriage.
Basile1m) Feb 3, 1812 Rouville, Que
-Genevieve Masse
2m) Sept 30, 1816 Rouville, Que.
-Marie Louise Perron
I have 3 ch from this 2nd marr.
Basile had bro. Joseph, sisters M. Anne
and Angelique-all married.
Basile was the son of Simon Basile Desautels and Marie Angelique Truteau (Trudeau).
Simon Basile b. 10-26-1749 at Longue Pointe
d. before 1832
m. 6-25-1781 Longue Pointe
-M. Angelique Truteau
b. 2-27-1763 Longue Pointe
In a 1781 census he had 226 acres about half farm and half woodland. He was the 10th of 14 children only 6 of whom survived to marry-including #4, my ancestor, Louis.
Hope to figure out my retrieval problem. Its a little tough when all one knows about a computer is what one has taught oneself...and I have never been a teacher.
Until then.Jay Desautels
