I cannot be sure. Gloria Derryberry, who has done lots of Derryberry family research, feels near sure that you are eferring to the person that we have as Virginia Audelia Derryberry, born 1848 in Tishomingo Co., MS, daughter of Henderson DeGraffy Barnhart Derryberry and Lucretia L. Estes. It does seem highly probable.
HDBD homesteaded land in Little River Co., AR in 1882. He was in 1860 census of Nacogdoches Co., TX. Do not know when he went to AR.
Since your Virginia birthed her first child in 1874, the 1870 census of Little River Co., AR might reveal something. Also, marriage records of the county might reveal their marriage.
The fact that your Virginia's daughter was named Lucretia and our Virginia's mother was name Lucretia is pretty good indication. First daughters were often named for their two grandmothers.
