GEORGE AND LOUISA DERRY'S IMMIGRATION

George & Louisa, Charles Henry, Moroni Wheldal Derry, Amelia Street, and Joseph A. Derry left Liverpool May 25, 1856 on the Morman ship "Horizon", arriving in Boston, MA June 28. I have the story of that ship's journey. It is a very long and fascinating story. Amelia Street is George's mother. She married Richard Street February 13, 1842 in Walsall Wood. However, Richard was not on the ship with them. Amelia used the Derry family name on some land deeds in Nebraska. I don't know if she just left him, divorced him, or he died before she came over.
I have not been able to find where Amelia is buried, she supposely died in Madison Co., NE in 1873 but can't seem to find her on the 1870 census anywhere.
I would like to hear from anyone who is interested as I've done a lot of work on the Derry's with a lot of help from Sue Lote.

Linda
