My father George Grier Christopher Derrick came to Australia from Sterling, Scotland. His father was Oliver Derrick. An antique dealer, councillor, author, and magistrate, in Sterling Scotland. He was married twice but what may be of interest is that I believe he was related directly to a John Derrick that came from England. I can give you more information if you wish....cheers Ian Derrick.
