I have found three separate individuals who went to the USA in the 19th century. One was Sarah Derrick, who went to Indiana in 1870, after marrying Joe Target. Joe went to work in the Indiana coal mines and was killed in 1888. Sarah was born in 1842 at Chilcompton, Somerset, a village between Wells and Bath. Another migrant was Ellen Derrick, born 1890 at Ashgrove, about The third migrant also went to Illinois. He was John Derrick, Sarah and Ellen were distantly related, I believe.
