Absolom was the son of Michaels daughter Magaline and James Derrick.She married a Berger(Burger)later. This comes from William Henderson Derricks family brother of Absolom and Elizabeth Derrick Firestone was their sister, so named in Michaels will. Wiiliam S was Absoloms son who married Sarah Jane Hamill.Sarah Smith, Absoloms wife daughter of William Smith and Elizabeth Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton and Mary Skillington. John is son of Hugh Hamilton and Margaret Dickson and William is my g.g.grandfather. Williams son Robert Grant married Merica G.P.G.Parker, their son George Gordon married Nelia Jane Low, their son Vernon Derrick is my dad.
Sarah Smith Derrick born May 29,1824 came to oklahoma and died at Roff, Ok June 30, 1896. William bn. Sept 22, 1846 died there also Dec.9,1898 and is buried by his mom. He was in civil war for Union.Has military stone.
