Sometime I get discouraged while researching for ancestors I never knew. Thanks to other wonderful researchers that are willing to share even the very smallest thread of information that might connect I found the son of my g uncle living in Arkansas. Please!!!!!! I encourage others to share, even if you think it might not be worth checking into. Believe me it just might lead to wonderful discoveries. If we are searching on the internet we must be willing to share and to have our research challenged and tested. Even if it means changing some or all of it. Even if we find that who we thought g g g whoever is, really is not. We must not think all is written in stone and cannot be changed. A special "thank you" to the g grand-dau in law of John Morgan Derrick for being willing to contact and discuss the possibility of being related and as it turned out we are. Is this not cool. It has taken us several months to finally cement this connection. Even over the internet it is not easy. Also, please give credit to the person that your new validated information is received from. This makes sharing even more fun. Thanks to all. Especially to you know who. You made it all possible
