We've had a breakthrough this week. We have finally been able to link the Derrick family from Somerset and Gloucester to a America. The connection came from George Derrick b.1773 who's son JAMES DERRICK b.March 17 1814 emmigrated to America with his wife ELIZABETH DERRICK (nee Collier) and two young daughters call SARAH DERRICK and ANNE DERRICK. They then went on to have a son called GEORGE WILLIAM DERRICK, b. January 21, 1843, Southbridge, Massachusetts. We also have links to Australia when WILLIAM HENRY DERRICK born Abt. 1834 in Leonard Stanley, Gloustershire, England, and died 1908 in Stuart Mill emmigrated to Australia. His wife was LUCY ANN BROWN B.born 1836 in Cambridge England, and died 1885 in Stuart Mill, Australia
