I have Mary E.DeRossett (Elizabeth DeRossett) born Nov.11, 1865 who married Taylor Merritt Nov. 24,1889. Her Parents are Thomas Jefferson DeRossett and Nancy Jane Gobble/Goble.Thomas is the youngest son of James DeRossett and Millie Rose.....This family has a real habit of using the middle name as the name they call them by....Elizabeth would be my grandads sister...Hope this helps!
