thanks for that info...james and tolbert (your grandfather) they are sons of Solomon and Elizbeth (Hammons)? I had them pegged as sons of Tolbert "Tob". If you go back further than this link, I would love to contact you regarding your research to get correct what I have so far. I will be in Bull Creek area the first week of October and talking to some people then. Not sure if it is acceptable to ask to talk with you or not but if it is, please email me . If not, perhaps you could outline for me the links back beyond James (Victoria Gray) and Tolbert (Rebecca Campbell)to the Jefferson/Tolbert/James/Solomon line of about 1830 and one step back to the Solomon of 1815? I think these links are correct but not sure. Thanks
