Derflinger Family Genealogy Forum
It would seem than no matter what the spelling, at some time in the 1700s and 1800s our family came from German and maybe even Russian decent depending on your reference and how far back you can follow the family tree. Given the DOERFLINGER, DORFLINGER, DOERFLINGOR, ect. variations and the fact that most seem to agree on is that the name was changed from the original to the present day DERF, DURF with the FLINGER being common. I must come to the assumption that we are all part of the same family in some way. We all seem to be good, kind hearted and hard working as a whole. Oh, yea, personally I love BEER.. To all of you that may or may not be part of my heritage, I give a well meant KUDOS for the research you have done. Please keep in touch...
