Thanks for the Information. I knew the names of 2 of the 3 but not the other info or source. Do you know any names that may had moved to the Columbus Ohio area and would have been there in the early 1850's. Primarily Hardin or Logan counties.

I found information on another Doerflinger in Milwaukee Wi. - Charles Herman Bn 17 Feb. 1843 in Baden Ger. Son of Karl Doerflinger and Theresa Gisselbrecht. Karl and Theresa immigrated to Milwaukee in 1848 - he was involved in the failed 1848 revolution and had to leave. Source - Men of Progress - Wisconsin pages 417 - 451.

Also I have information on the family of Frederick and Daniel Durflinger thru Ohio - Ind. / Ill. and Mo.

I am trying to find the key link to my Grandfather - Joseph A. Derflinger - we do not know who his parents where - Bn Ridgeway Ohio in 1851 but moved to Ill. and Ind.

Thanks again - CLD
