Hello, My grandfather was Charles Washington Derflinger, 1881-1939. His father was Robert J. Derflinger, the brother of your George William Derflinger. He died in San Bernardino, CA in 1930 while visiting with his daughter Eva. Their parents were Charles W. and Anna Veach Derflinger. And Charles's parents were Philip and Elizabeth Barrow. My grandfather's family (Robert and Emma Alice Sargent Derflinger) moved from near Reliance , VA to near West Newton, PA. My grandfather moved from there to New Brighton, PA where he died in 1939. He was a molder and an artist. My parents moved to New Port Richey, Fl in the 1970's. In 1989, they visited a funeral to view Claude Derflinger. My mother thought they he was some relative since his family was originally from VA. But she didn't know. I started to do research on the family two years ago. When I started, I knew little except the family came from near Front Royal, VA.
