I think you will find that the Dereche surname comes from the Gaspe area of Quebec.
Their was a line that was called Beland dit Daraiche, some of the generations took the Beland surname others took the Daraiche, which in some instances became Dereche. If this sounds like it may be part of your family please send me an E-mail and I will point you in the direction of some good resources.
