Hi!
My first link with the DeRamus line starts with a Jim DeRamus who has at least one brother (name also spelled with a J). He was married to my great-grandmother Willie Davis. She married Jim & then later married his brother.
I'm black, white, indian, & cajun my grgrndmother told me. I have no idea if these brothers were black or white. They would probably have been born in the early 1880's at least, probably in Autauga county AL.
If you have any link up between the two races, or any other info on Autauga cty. Deramus , I'd like to exchange info.
