My Jennie was born about 1794 and died after 1840 in Elbert/Madison County, GA. I have not connected her with the Virginia DePriests because I have been told that she was a daughter of John or James DePriest and his mistress (Perhaps your Elizabeth?) I have seen the census records for Solomon Swindle in 1850 as well as the cemetary records, but cannot tie them to Jennie. The Robert DePriest family in New Kent County, VA is well researched, but despite promises made by people I have contacted, no one will give me information on the supposed mistress. Maybe two of us can push them. I found records at Clayton Library in Houston that the DePriests were connected with Dolley Madison!
