Alyse DePriest b. 1773 who married Elisha Hall is NOT the daughter of William DePriest and Judith (her last name is unknown, Austin is speculation). William was born 1689 and died in 1737. Judith was born in the early 1700s. It would have been quite impossible for them to have had a daughter in 1773!

Among their children were 4 sons named Randolph, William, John and Robert. She could be the daughter or granddaughter of one of them. I don't believe she is descended from William, Jr. (my line) so it is probably one of the others. William (b. 1689) also had two half brothers, John and Robert who lived in the Hanover and Louisa Counties area.
