Hi! Yes I think their is a relationship.
My husbands great-great Grandfather was a Fred Deppe married to a Adelkaid Wuiswmaw from Bremen Germany.
Their children were, Henry F. Deppe(1873-1951), our Great Grandfather, John Deppe(1877-1952) , Adeline Rudebush(1869-1950) and possible also a Thomas A Deppe as I am in touch with someone else also having a Thomas and Frederick in their family. Please e-mail me at WHWAHD@aol.com
