Are you certain there is a connection with the name DeNoyelles? If you aren't already aware of it, there is a book titled "Birth of An American Family" by, I believe, Peter DeNoyelles (not sure of the first name but his last name is certainly DeNoyelles), which chronicles the DeNoyelles family since John (the patriarch) arrived in this country in 1753 (and settled in then-Orange County New York) through the late 1960's. You might find some information there (I too am a direct-decendant of John DeNoyelles). The book has been out of print for some time, but is found in some libraries...Hope this helps!
