I am also a descendent of Jesse Denton. Monica and I both descend from his son Drewry. Drewry had a brother named Alsey who was born bet. 1790-1800 and died bet. 1868-1870 and who was married to Rebecca. Their children were

Sherwood born 1826 and died 1859 and married Nov. 30, 1850 to Mary A. Hanson

Jackson born bet. 1820-1825 who married on Sept. 19, 1843 Mary M. Flowers

Thena born bet 1820-1825.

Rebecca Jane born bet. 1835-1840.

Winnie born bet. 1830-1836.

Do any of these names match yours? Other siblings of Drewry and Alsey were Elijah, Dempsey, and James.
