From some old researchers (1930?) I have somewhat conflicting data as follows:
ELISHA TIPTON DENTON, farmer in Cedar Creek, Perry Co., TN & mar. to Cinthia (Burns?) had eldest child ELIZABETH DENTON, Perry Co. 1831; mar. c.1851-2 to Jacob Shipman; died in the 1860s in Perry Co. It sounds as if I'm throwing you a curve but there it is. Walter
