I am seeking contact with descendants of my grandfather, George Denton, who was born on 16th September, 1860 and died on 25th February, 1955. Throughout his life he lived in Reading. He was married four times, the details being:-
1. On the 3rd November, 1883 he married Emily Wright; she died in March, 1897. There were three children of this marriage:
Maud Mary Denton born 17th July, 1884.
Harry Hignell Denton born 27 July, 1885.
James Horace Denton born 21st November, 1888.
2. On the 15th October, 1898 he married Clara Smith who was born on 18th September, 1871 and died on 21st December, 1913. There were three children of this marriage:
George Charles Denton born in 1901.
Clara Winifred Denton born 1st February, 1901
who was my mother.
Richard Denton born on 18th February, 1913.
3. On the 24th June, 1914 he married Cecilia Jones who died on 31st August, 1931; there was one child of this marriage, Cecil Frank denton born on 25th April, 1915.
4. On the 3rd June, 1932 he married Edith Caroline Martin who was known as "Cissie"; there were no children of this marriage.
