I am interested in your Dentons who wound up in MS. I have John R. DENTON b. @ 1836 MS who stated his parents were born in GA. John married #1 Eliza DAVISON 7-13-1853, Lauderdale Co, MS and #2 Land Amanda KEITH 2-25-1864 Lauderdale County, MS. Their children were Fannie C. HEGWOOD (or HAYWOOD), A Columbus DENTON (m. SIMMONS), Monroe Willie DENTON (m. BUNCH), Aroiaume (male, name unreadable on census), Walter Edwar DENTON (m. THRASH), Carl Lee DENTON. This family lived mainly in Lauderdale and Newton Counties, MS. Please reply in email to FMcGCain@aol.com.
