ALBERT LOGAN DENTON was born in 1867 in Jackson Co, TN per his death cert and information he passed down to his daughter. He stated his father's name was MARION DENTON and his mother's name was GRACE. Census records showing Albert in 1910 and 1920 also state he was born in TN.
But I cannot find a MARION DENTON in TN that I have been able to connect with Albert. I know of another Albert L. Denton born to a John Denton and Lucinda Whitworth, but that is not my Albert. Their son died young and is buried in Hill or Limestone Co, TX.
ALBERT LOGAN DENTON left Jackson Co, TN and removed to Van Zandt Co, TX, though he lived for a time in Sherman, Grayson Co, TX in 1908 as my grandfather was born there.
Albert firstly married CLARABELLE MAYFIELD in Jackson Co, TN. After her death, he returned to TN and married MARY HARP, also in Jackson Co, TN in 1901.
Albert died in Dallas in 1953 (per death cert). Does anyone have any information on a MARION and/or GRACE DENTON who could have been related to Albert? I'm not finding any possibilities on census records.
