Would you happen to know the death dates of Parthenia and Vandiver Curtis Dickson? I have found on the Washita USGenweb site the dates and place, but not sure it is correct.
It shows they are buried in Strickland (North Side) Cemetery in Cordell, OK, but the birth and death dates don't seem to be correct according to what I have found in census records.
It shows that V.C. Dickson was born 1876-died 1918 and that Prudy P. Dickson was born 1853-died 1929.
According to 1920 Washita Co., OK census, V.C. (Vandiver Curtis) is listed as age 67 and listed as widowed. Prudy is not listed.
In 1930 Washita Census, Vandiver is not listed. I assume he died between 1920-1930, since he is listed in 1920 census.
So I think the 1929 death date should be for V.C. instead of Prudy and the 1918 should be for Prudy. The birth date for V.C. seeems to be incorrect also. He was born around 1855 instead of 1876.
Just wondering if you might know the correct birth and death dates.
