Hi Jim
The Denton family you are asking about originated in Bardney, Lincolnshire, England before moving to Liverpool in about 1846. John Denton (my great grandfather)was born there in 1855. He married Henrietta Ensor and they had seven children. A couple of sons emigrated to the USA early in the 20th century - William and Edward. Their descendants are still in Texas. The rest of the family stayed in England. We are still in touch with our American cousins, Bill and Jay.
