I have nothing substantial for you, but it is interesting that my grandfather's name was James Monroe Denton, and he had a son he named Thomas Virgil Denton.

Do you know ANYTHING at all about your father's family?

My grandfather, James Monroe, was born in Illinois, moved to Ark, then Mo.
