Looking for information on Robert G. Denton, b. 1878 to Robert Leander McChesney Denton and Darthula Melissa Denton in Washington County, VA. He married Nancy Martitia Smith, b. Apr 1884, Johnson County, TN, sometime around 1906. Nancy's, or Tishie as she went by, parents were Solomon Smith and Rebecca J. Potter. Following census data, I found the following children born to this couple:
Vera, b. abt. 1907, VA
Freda, b. abt. 1909, VA
Bessie, b. abt. 1912, VA
Minnie, b. abt. 1913, VA
Nora (?), b. abt. 1923, TN
Wanda, b. abt. 1926, TN
This family appears in the 1910 Washington County, Va census; the 1920 Sullivan County, TN census; and the 1930 Polk County, IA census
Both Vera and Freda are no longer with the family in the 1930 census so I am assuming they got married, either in Sullivan County, TN or Polk County, IA.
