It's possible that your Jerron my in fact be Jerow or Jerrow. Jerow is a name that appears in the Denton line. The name Jerow is a variation of the spelling of the name Gerow (which evolved from the French name Giraud). The Gerow family intermarried with the Dentons and several settled in the Denton Valley Tennessee area and some migrated into Illinois. The Gerows and some Dentons came from New York and Canada. I have a Daniel Jerow Denton b. 1832 who was the son of Jerow Denton 1785-1864 and Mary A. Hull 1790-1852. Jerow and Mary came from Washington County, Virginia to Fayette County, Illinois settling near Vera, Illinois. I believe there must be some connection to your Darrel and Jerron.
