Well I think I assumed too much.<g> I went back to that 1920 census to check it and it says Albert only. I assumed at the time he may have been Albert Sidney SR. But, looking at it a second time this may be your Noah instead. You have to remember that at times you will not see them listed with all of their names in the order you understand them. If you do you will miss them. At the time Noah Albert gave the census taker his handle as Albert and/or the Arthur COLE family he was boarding with knew him as Albert when they gave the census taker his name within the family household. Use your browser on this site to "print message" and you will see my email address and then you hit on my "history" and you will see the surnames that I have dealt with over the years on this site.<g> As for where to find the AL census you can find them on the AL pages on the state level as well as the counties that you are aware of your ancestors. Also you can find them on the FamilyTree.Com as well as Ancestry.Com and if you use your search engines you will find several sites that have volunteers loading the census for the states and counties as well. Finding the census listings is not a exact science on one particular site. Do you have a Family History Center [LDS] near where you live ? Try them. Do you have a public library near you that has a genealogy collection within?/ Try them. Do you have a community college or full university near by that has a history/genealogy unit within ??? Try them. More later. Notify Administrator about this message?
