My family came from the Leeds area of Yorkshire. Richard and Harriet(Armytage)Denton ( daughter of an army officer) owned a furniture factory in Leeds or area. Several of the family were involved in the Crimean war. Their son Armitage(my great grandfather left England around the 1870's for Ontario Canada
