I also have Edward Denton born cir. 1790 in South Carolina and died before 1850. I have his wife as listed as Catherine Blasingame born in North Carolina. My family run from his son William Mitchell Denton born Feb. 24, 1822 died April 17 1880. I am unsure if William M. Denton was born in Tn or Al but I am sure he died in Al. I know that Edward's fathers name was James Denton but that is all I know. If any one knows more about James Denton please email me.
