I am looking for any information, such as birth/death/marriage dates on Jim DENTON,who was married to Rose Ida POTEET/POTEAT about 1891 in western NC. The county could have been Burke, Lincoln, McDowell or Cleveland. In the 1900 census, she was living in her father's household with one child, while he was living in the household of a man named Queen and was listed as a farm laborer. She stated she had been married 9 years, and James Denton stated he had been married 9 years also. Anyone have a connection?
